Who is Moving Waters?
Welcome to Moving Waters, where compassion meets action to improve the lives of unhoused individuals in the Galveston and Houston area. Since 2019, our nonprofit has been providing mobile shower services, offering dignity and hygiene to those in need. Inspired by Christ's teachings, we believe that by serving the least among us, we serve Him. Through the dedication of volunteers and the support of donors, we bring light into the lives of our unhoused brothers and sisters.
What is Heatwave Hope Drive?
Heatwave Hope Drive is Moving Waters’ annual summer initiative focused on collecting critical in-kind donations and supplies to support unhoused individuals in Houston during extreme heat conditions.
